Warranty Policy

he owner of the webshop kukirinscooters.eu (hereinafter the “Webshop”, e-mail: info@kukirinscooters.eu) provides the following Warranty Policy for all products purchased from the Webshop. This Policy forms part of the Webshop’s Terms of Use and applies in addition to the rights granted by EU and Estonian consumer protection law.

The Webshop reserves the right to amend this Policy. Any changes will be published on the website and apply only to purchases made after the amendment.


1. Buyer Responsibility for Inspection

  • The Buyer must inspect the product within 2 calendar days of delivery.

  • Any visible defects or damages must be reported immediately by emailing info@kukirinscooters.eu.

  • If the Buyer does not report defects within this 2-day period, the Webshop assumes the Buyer has received the product in satisfactory condition and is familiar with its characteristics.

  • After this period, claims for pre-existing defects are not accepted, except for latent defects that could not have been detected during normal inspection.


2. Statutory Warranty Rights

  • All Buyers retain full statutory rights under EU consumer law, including the right to repair, replacement, or refund for goods that are defective or non-conforming at the time of delivery.

  • The statutory warranty period is depicted “Warranty Periodas for Specific Components, as required by EU law.

  • The Webshop is responsible for defects that existed at delivery or appeared within the statutory period, unless caused by:

    • Misuse or abnormal use

    • External factors (e.g., lightning, moisture, voltage fluctuations)

    • Unauthorized modifications or repairs

    • Normal wear and tear

    • Software issues not caused by the Webshop or manufacturer


3. Manufacturer’s Warranty

  • Products may include a manufacturer’s warranty covering material or workmanship defects for a limited period.

  • The manufacturer’s warranty does not replace statutory rights. Buyers retain all rights under EU consumer law.

  • The manufacturer’s warranty may become void if:

    • Repairs are performed by unauthorized service centers

    • Severe mechanical damage or liquid/moisture damage occurs

    • Serial numbers, control stickers, or markings are tampered with, replaced, or removed

Note: Warranty periods above may differ from manufacturer warranties.


5. Submitting a Warranty Claim

  • To submit a claim, the Buyer must email info@kukirinscooters.eu within 2 months of detecting a defect.

  • Include:

    • Proof of purchase

    • Description of the defect

    • Photos of defects. Or Videos if possible

The Webshop will determine whether the defect is covered under statutory rights or warranty.


6. Webshop Liability

The Webshop will repair, replace, or refund products free of charge if the defect exists at delivery or occurs within the statutory period and is not caused by the Buyer. Still inpectsion costs are €55 are Buyer responsibility. 

The Webshop is not responsible for defects or damages caused by:

  • Misuse or abnormal use beyond inspection rights

  • Normal wear and tear of consumable parts

  • External factors, including: lightning, moisture, voltage fluctuations

  • Improper storage, maintenance, or handling by the Buyer

  • Unauthorized modifications, repairs, or tampering with serial numbers

  • Software installed by the Buyer

  • Costs arising from data loss, productivity loss, or incidental damages


7. Inspection and Paid Repair

  • If the product shows signs of misuse, abnormal use, or consequential damage, the Webshop may charge the Buyer for inspection or repairs.

  • Inspection costs are €55, covering:

    • External and internal cleaning*

    • Adjustment and lubrication of mechanical parts

    • Technical condition checks

    • Consultation on further actions

*Performed at Webshop discretion to prevent further damage or wear.

  • Costs for repair or inspection due to Buyer-caused damage will be deducted from any refund or invoiced separately.


8. Refunds

  • Refunds will be processed to the Buyer’s original payment method within 14 calendar days after receiving the returned product and confirming the defect.

  • Refunds may be reduced for diminished value or inspection costs if defects are caused by misuse, abnormal use, or consequential damage.
