Repair and Maintenance Policy

The owner of the webshop kukirinscooters.eu (hereinafter the Webshop), e-mail info@kukirinscooters.eu.

This Repair and Maintenance Policy sets out the conditions, procedures, and pricing for inspection, repair, and servicing of products purchased from the Webshop. It also outlines the Buyer’s rights and obligations when sending products for repair or maintenance.

This Policy applies to all services provided by the Webshop and forms an integral part of the Webshop’s Terms of Use. In matters not regulated by this Repair and Maintenance Policy, the Terms of Use and applicable Estonian legislation shall apply.

Webshop reserves the right to amend this Policy. Any changes will be published on the Webshop website and will apply to services requested after the amended policy enters into force.

Price list for maintenance and repair services for electric scooters

BASIC MAINTENANCE / INSPECTION – €55

  • External cleaning*
  • Internal cleaning of the scooter body* (e.g. inside the deck if needed)
  • Adjustment of brakes cables
  • Lubrication of brake cable housings
  • Lubrication of folding mechanism
  • Lubrication of adjustable and folding handlebar
  • Checking tyre pressure and condition (inflation)
  • Checking bearing condition (without deattaching anything)
  • Lubrication/venting of suspension (without deattaching anything)
  • Detecting play/looseness
  • Tightening external mechanical looseness
  • Assessing wear of consumable parts
  • Technical condition check (e.g. battery voltage; charging and charger check, if charger included)
  • Consultation on further actions

Services marked with an asterisk (*) are required at Webshop’s discretion to prevent potential additional costs or wear.

Repair labour price list (spare parts not included in prices)

  • Inner and/or outer tube change: €20–€25 (non-motor wheel) or €25–€55 (motor wheel)
  • Wheel replacement: €19 (non-motor) or €39 (motor)
  • Wheel bearing replacement: €19 (non-motor) or €29–€45 (motor)
  • Solid tyre installation (replacing inner & outer tyre) or removal of solid/honeycomb tyre: €35 (up to 8.5″) or €45 (10″+)
  • Tubeless tyre change: €30 (up to 10″) or €35–€40 (10″+)

Electrical spare-part works

  • Battery replacement: €45
  • Basic electronics check (corrosion/water damage, insulation faults, and connector inspection inside and outside the scooter body): €59
  • Light replacement: €30
  • Throttle/accelerator replacement/repair: €40
  • Display replacement: €40
  • Original motor replacement and necessary connections: €55
  • Original controller replacement: €60
  • External motor cable repair/soldering: €60
  • Charging port/plug replacement: €30

Frame, Handlebar and Fork

  • Grip replacement: €15
  • Headset cups and head bearings cleaning/wash & lubrication: €55 (includes lubricants and cleaners)
  • Headset cups and bearings replacement: €60
  • Folding handlebar replacement: €45
  • Scooter frame folding mechanism: €120
  • Handlebar tube replacement: €60
  • Scooter cleaning/wash: €45*
  • Suspension lubrication/maintenance: €60

Brakes

  • Brake adjustment per unit: €15 (drum) – €30 (disc)
  • Brake lever replacement: €30
  • Brake cable replacement (with new housings): €30 (price per cable)
  • Disc brake pad replacement: €15 (pair)
  • Caliper replacement per unit: €45
  • Brake disc replacement per unit: €45
  • Installation of hydraulic disc brake set: €120 (includes installation, oiling, bleeding; spare parts not included)

For tasks outside the price list, the hourly rate is €60/h (e.g. mudguard replacement, packaging, repairing deformed parts, installing non-original spare parts, or replacing the handlebar tube, etc.).

Transport of the electric scooter to the Webshop workshop is according to the “Delivery” section of the Terms.

Courier service prices:

  • Shipment up to 30 kg – €8 per shipment
  • Shipment 30–60 kg – €35 per shipment
  • Shipment over 60 kg – €110 per shipment

Storage of an electric scooter after repair completion or after inspection result has been notified by e-mail

  • First 10 calendar days – €0 (free)
  • From the 10th calendar day – €5/day
  • Storage up to 1 week – €15
  • Storage up to 1 month – €60
  • Storage after one month – €60/month

If repair or inspection has been completed and Webshop has notified by e-mail that the work is finished, please collect your scooter within 10 calendar days; otherwise, a storage fee will be applied from the date the e-mail was sent.

Webshop’s does not assume any obligation or responsibility for charging electric scooters— to avoid the battery becoming too discharged, please collect your scooter as soon as possible.

If 3 months have passed since completion of repair or maintenance (the required storage fee exceeds €180) and the client has not collected their vehicle, Webshop’s has the right, without notifying the client, to dispose of the device in accordance with the Terms.

The purchaser of Webshop’s repair services must familiarise themselves with the list of repair works before work begins. If the Buyer has delivered the scooter to Webshop’s, this is deemed as acceptance of the repair price list. Webshop’s is obliged to provide the maintenance and repair price list together with the quotation and to make the price list available on the website.

The Buyer undertakes to send the product for inspection or repair in its original packaging. Webshop’s is not liable for transport damage if the product was not packaged in its original packaging by the Buyer.

The Buyer has the right to request:

  • An estimated cost of repair work,
  • An estimated transport cost,
  • The price and estimated delivery time of spare parts offered by Webshop’s, the list of works performed, and the corresponding final price,
  • The estimated date of arrival of the returned shipment at the delivery address provided by the Buyer,
  • To purchase spare parts from elsewhere than Webshop’s and request their installation according to the price list.

The purchaser of Webshop’s repair services must familiarise themselves with the list of repair works before work begins. If the Buyer has delivered the scooter to Webshop’s, this is deemed acceptance of the repair price list. Webshop’s is obliged to provide the maintenance and repair price list together with the quotation and to make the price list available on the website.

The Buyer undertakes to send the product for inspection or repair in its original packaging. Webshop’s is not liable for transport damage if the product was not packaged by the Buyer in the original packaging.
